SMALL VILLAGE HOUSES

 Located in Montanchez and the other villages of the sierra, usually in solid condition with many original features  such as vaulted ceilings, thick stone walls, wine cellars, roof terraces and patios.  Prices range from 25,000€  depending on condition.

LARGER HOUSES

There are a few larger, grander houses for sale with more elaborate architectural features and very spacious interiors, up to 400m2.

OLD OLIVE MILLS, FLOUR MILLS, INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS

Some very interesting buildings which would be ideal for a more extensive project of restaurant, bar, shops, showroom, gallery etc.

FINCAS (farms), OLIVE GROVES, FIG ORCHARDS

All over the sierra, beautiful pieces of land with mature trees and spectacular views, usually enclosed by stone walls. Some with small buildings . Building licenses for fincas of over 1.5 hectares. 

 

BUILDING COSTS

It is possible to build on plots of over 1.5 hectares, for good quality building and materials about 800€ per m2 for total area of building including everything.  We have personal experience of the fine workmanship  and co-operation of  architects, builders, carpenters, electricians and plumbers and would be happy to recommend their services.

Renovation costs for old houses would depend on individual condition and the extent of renovation, usually plumbing, electrics and re-construction of roof,  some re -arrangement of rooms.
